There are several steps in the process of website design. Here’s what to expect:
This is your chance to introduce your business and explain what you want and need from your new website. It’s helpful to know what you like and don’t like, so feel free to bring along example websites.
I’ll take everything we discussed in our briefing and turn it into a project proposal. This will outline information about your business, what you want from the site, and any specific functions or features. This way, we both know what the plan is, and you can double check that I’ve understood exactly what you’re after.
Now we get into the creative zone! I’ll take your brand identity, content and functions and whip them up into a design that reflects who you are, what you do, and who you do it for.
The site is up and everything’s been double checked. But, just in case there’s a sneaky link that’s refusing to work or a post that’s been missed out, the snagging period is a chance to catch and tidy up any loose ends.
We’ve done it! You now have an awesome new site, ready to inform, inspire, and more importantly, convert, your dream clients.

Professionally built websites can start from around £500 for a very simple build but can easily head up towards £2000-£10,000+ for larger or more bespoke projects.
You need to consider what your website needs to be able to do in order to make it work well for your business.
Do you need a “shop window” that showcases your products or services and helps your clients to build confidence in your skills and quality?
Do you need a specific functionality such as a booking or payment platform?
How soon do you need your site to be ready?
All of these factors will be taken into consideration when your web developer puts together a quote for you. Best advice? Make sure you know what you want and communicate that clearly with your developer.
