Because that stock image you were going to use? It’s already on hundreds of other site, being used on social media by other companies and most importantly of all?
It has nothing to do with you.
When you use images, be they on your website or on other material for your business, you need to choose them for a purpose. And that purpose is not “because they look nice”. You need to handpick images that showcase your brand, your values, your product or your services.
The images you choose need to give your clients an insight into who you are and what you do. To enable them to see, at a glance, whether what you’re offering is a good fit for them.
And stock images just aren’t going to be able to do that.
